Blockchain: Uncovering Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and the Future of Money

It’s really hard to get away from news about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency right now, isn’t it? So when I got the chance to read and review Blockchain: Uncovering Blockchain Technology, Cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and the Future of Money, I thought it would be a good way to learn more. This is a basic introduction to cryptocurrencies, with some cool trivia, like the origin of  the name Satoshi. It’s a portion of a bitcoin, and named after a secretive Bitcoin developer. (Although other my internet reading about Bitcoin speculates that Satoshi is a British expat in Japan..)

There’s a little weird formatting in this book and some typos,  which reminded me that I was reading a self-published book. I think this was a collection of articles or long blog posts that the author wrote, and then collected into one volume so readers could get all their blockchain and crypto information in one place. This is an informative book on a popular topic.
